AGAINST THE CLOCK
A WEEKEND OF ONLINE ACTIVITIES TO AID YOUR TT / TRI RIDING

This is a flexible weekend designed to help those interested in improving their riding against the clock – specifically Cycling Time Trials and Triathlon. The weekend offers 8 hours of input spread over 6 separate sessions including:
2 group riding sessions via zwift including proper base training and interval set.
2 off the bike functional training sessions.
A theory workshop examining the theory, science and reality of riding against the clock
A Q+A with Jo Patterson – a very new kid on the block, multiple top 5 UK national CTT champs performer who is working hard whilst facing the issues many of us face with work and a busy life.

SATURDAY 13th MARCH:
9:00-11:30am – Zwift meetup running provided workout – Base aerobic ride working at “Zone 2”, position drills and strength development + fuelling.
12:00-12:50pm – Online mobility session via zoom. Working at recovery from ride and key limiters to riding performance and function.

SUNDAY 14th MARCH:
1:30-3:00pm – Online workshop via Zoom – looking at theory, science and reality of riding against the clock. Covering training, equipment, aerodynamics, pacing and common mistakes.
3:30-4:30pm – Online Strength and Conditioning session via zoom. Working at specific function and strength development relative to riding against the clock.
4:45-6:00pm – Zwift meetup running provided workout – TT warm up into an FTP development set of intervals.
7:00-7:40pm – Q+A with Jo Patterson / Pro endurance – ask Jo about her training and racing, or throw a question at Pro Endurance to pick our brains.
Can’t make any of the workshop sessions or rides?? we are providing links to the sessions for catch up and workout files for the rides to do in your own time as required.
With ongoing Lockdown restrictions and event cancellations it again looks like bike TT’s may be one of the earliest, safest and easiest events to resume in 2021. Get your season off to a strong start with this weekend of activities
