MARCH TRAINING CAMP

Pro Endurance Coaching are pleased to announce their March Training Camp.  We are operating a 2 day camp from afternoon / evening of Friday 13th March till Afternoon of Sunday 15th March.  The camp will be based in the picturesque town of Aberfeldy in Perthshire just over 90 mins drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh.  Accommodation will be in self catering cottages at the Moness resort sharing with other camp participants.  The resort has leisure facilities for your use as well as food and drink options.

Pro Endurance Coaching brings over 20 years coaching experience together with a background in sports science and full time work at all levels including elite and age group world championship medallists, 70.3 winners, national champions, Tristar, Youth and Junior performance athletes as well as considerable experience of work with novices and improvers.  Skill development and individual customised work programmes are the backbone of our work.

This camp is an ideal way to ramp up your training, spend time in a nice training environment pre race season and gain new skills and knowledge with fellow athletes.  We run a relatively informal fun show and welcome new faces.  Juniors aged 14 or over (in 2020) may attend the camp presuming they have adequate skills and ability (please contact us to enquire) as long as a parent or guardian is in attendance at the camp.

There will be lots of sessions including:

3 bike rides with options of flat, hilly and also a chance to ride the Scottish / British Middle Distance Championships course.

several runs including on and off road with easy miles some skill work and short speed elements.

Functional training to support all 3 sports.

A long swim session with some wetsuit open water skills to start before technical and aerobic strength development.   There will also be the option to be filmed with a 1-2-1 40 minute analysis of your swim stroke with Coach John Dargie  (to be arranged after the camp) for an additional £40.

Sunday will also see a workshop based around Training intensity – how to measure and control it and the implications for your training and performance.

The camp cost includes all accommodation, facilities and coaching and a camp T-Shirt.  Food is not included but we will organise a group meal on the Saturday for those who wish.
